This was information that needed to be said. You're right, not a lot is written about this because no one really wants to face it. I give you credit for bringing it out. Being in HR myself, I see a lot of what you are saying, every day. Another one that comes to mind is when you come in as a new mgr, dir, VP, etc, and want to be seen as the shining star or take charge person and proceed to undermine or take credit for all of the accomplishments of those under you. YOu may think this is making you look good, and you might even fool a few people for a short while, but eventually the truth comes out and you will be found out for the insecure, and manipulative person that you are.
